
Chinmayi Sharma
Chinmayi Sharma is a Scholar in Residence at the Strauss Center for International Security and Law and a Lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. Her research and teaching focus on internet governance and cybersecurity law and policy. She is affiliated with the Atlantic Council, the Transatlantic Cyber Forum, Foreign Policy for America (FP4A), the Internet Law and Policy Foundry, the Yale Cyber Leadership Forum, and the Council on Foreign Relations. She has written extensively for Lawfare and has been quoted by ProPublica, the New York Times, and Schneier on Security. Before joining UT, Chinmayi worked at Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP, a telecommunications law firm in Washington, D.C., clerked for Chief Judge Michael F. Urbanski of the Western District of Virginia, and co-founded a software development company.
